Step by Step

What to Expect For Your Visit

All clients meet with a sexual health counselor to complete a confidential sexual risk session and STI screening.

  1. Check in

Bring a photo ID and your insurance card if you have insurance. You will be asked to fill out a paper form with your information.

  2. Confidential counseling session

A sexual health counselor sits down with you for a confidential sexual risk session and STI screening.

  3. Symptom check

You will be asked to identify if you have any symptoms. If you do, you may also be seen by a nurse practitioner.

  4. Screening and samples

The counselor tests you for HIV, Hepatitis C (HCV), Syphilis, Chlamydia, and Gonorrhea — blood samples for the first three, and urine samples or swabs for Chlamydia and Gonorrhea.

  5. Results and follow-up

Results are available within 7 business days. If any test is positive, treatment is provided and a return visit is required.
